We provide you with all the necessary information to participate in the Wine Run Rioja Alavesa next Sunday, October 26.

Discover all the activities that will take place in the OFFICIAL PROGRAM.

On the MAP, you can find the locations of the different event sites in Oyón-Oion.

Additionally, please pay special attention to the following points:

Race Bib Collection

You can pick up your race bib on Saturday afternoon (from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM) and on Sunday (from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM) at the Toki Alai” Fronton, on Calle Fueros (Oyón-Oion).

To avoid delays and crowds, we recommend arriving early with your ID and bib number, which you will receive via SMS. You may also collect someone else’s bib by presenting their ID or a copy.

Race Starts and Routes

The races will start at 10:00 AM from the area indicated on the map (Calle Fueros, 6): See location.


Refreshment Stations

The 10 km race will have a refreshment station at kilometer 4.6. The 20 km race will have three refreshment stations at kilometers 4.6, 10, and 15. Check the map for exact locations.

Next to the finish line, there will be a recovery area exclusively for runners from both races.

Race Services

All participants will receive a wine glass holder upon entering the finish area. Additionally, after the race, you can enjoy:

Wine and Gastronomy Fair

Upon completing the races, you can enjoy the Wine and Gastronomy Fair, located at Plaza de los Fueros, next to the race start point. In your participant bag, you will also find a ticket redeemable for a wine and a pintxo.

Here, you can enjoy wines from Pago de Larrea, Las Orcas, Pascual Larrieta, Ondalán, Heredad de Aduna, Bodega Bello Berganzo, Frías del Val, Bodega Casa Peque, and Piérola, as well as delicious Eusko Label meat from Euskal Parrilla and many other food stands.

Community Paella

This year, on Sunday after the race, starting at 2:00 PM, a Community Paella will be served in the Fair area.

Tickets can be purchased beforehand on Saturday afternoon (from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM) and Sunday morning (from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM) at the “Toki Alai” Fronton (Calle Fueros).

Exclusive Race Services

Participants in the races (10 km and 20 km) can use the baggage service from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM inside the Fronton.

Additionally, after finishing the race, you will have access to massage services at the Old Municipal Swimming Pools building (Calle Juntas Generales), as well as to changing rooms and showers (see MAP).

Regarding SHOWERS, VERY IMPORTANT: as always, they are limited and consist of all the public facilities available in the municipality. We apologize for any inconvenience during peak times and appreciate your understanding. Thank you for your cooperation!
